The weekend is upon us and we are taking over Hackney with our 40th Anniversary celebrations! We’re hosting three events, three days in a row:

Stewart Lee will be hosting our flagship event – a 10 hour long multi-artist musical celebration honouring Fire Records’ 40th Birthday. Headlined by a special one-off performance by ‘The Giant Syndicate’ – featuring Giant Sand’s Howe Gelb, The Dream Syndicate’s Steve Wynn and Jason Victor and Kristin Hersh of Throwing Muses. All taking place at the restored art deco EartH Theatre in Dalston, Hackney this Saturday.
Fire Records will be running an exclusive pop-up shop at EartH, featuring a finely curated selection of merch, LPs, CDs and cassettes to celebrate the 40 years of the label. There will be limited edition merch featuring Mr Gordo‘s incredible poster designs, featuring our celebrated cast on t shirts, tea towels, long sleeves, tote bags and more. To pair, the record shop will be stocked with a host of rarities and signed goods, alongside a career spanning selection from Giant Sand, Kristin Hersh and The Dream Syndicate, acclaimed new releases by Jane Weaver and Vanishing Twin, LPs from up-and-coming artists Marta Del Grandi, Monde UFO, Bas Jan and Immaterial Possession and so much more. Arrive early though, these won’t last long…Food will be available at EartH Kitchen during the event.
