The Lemonheads announce a trio of special shows this December in Chicago, US. Evan Dando is currently at work on demos for a new Lemonheads record, the first album of new original material since 2006. A 7” single is in the works for early 2024 and we are currently working on a multi LP expansive edition of ‘Car Button Cloth’, also set for next year. More news to be revealed very soon…

The bittersweet track is an emphatic note to a loved one whose overly guarded disposition has forced distance between them. It’s about letting go, emotional self-preservation and making the painful decision to shed responsibility for someone who doesn’t want to be saved. Released alongside a new music video, it bursts with colour and an innocence evoking bygone days.

This expanded edition of ‘7171’ includes the sought after ‘Four Songs’ EP, a reimagining Fugazi’s early classics, songs that take on a life of their own, lost amongst the haze and sugar sweet psych. Ray Monde explains, "Long Division was one of my favorite tracks off 'Steady Diet of Nothing' the first Fugazi record I ever owned; more than ever, it also feels truly poignant in the times we live in.Version 2 is our interpretation of Version from ‘Red Medicine’, my favorite Fugazi Record.”
