Following her first release on Fire Records earlier this year, ‘Rain’s Break’, we now revisit her acclaimed debut with this newly expanded edition of ‘Rushing’ that features an exclusive brand new single, ‘Orthione’.
‘Rushing’ in its original shorter five-track incarnation was heralded as a touchstone beneath the cascading torrent of modern times. An intimate collection of songs built around Lucy’s vocals, the newly added stand-out track ‘Orthione’ trips into the esoteric world of Laurie Anderson and Thomas Thallis; here her voice is the grounding force.
