Giant Sand - "Blurry Blue Mountain & Valley Of Rain (25th Anniversary Edition)" Double Album Released: 24 Oct 2010
A very special deluxe edition of their new album together with their lost classic debut.
Remastered and presented lovingly in a design by John Foster.
PACKAGE CONTENTS: 1 x Blurry Blue Mountain, 1 x Valley of Rain. Packaged together inside a limited edition slipcase.
LIMITED RUN OF 1000
A limited edition 25 year celebratory double CD release of Giant Sand's new album "Blurry Blue Mountain" and the reissued, remixed and remastered Giant Sand Debut "Valley of Rain (25th anniversary edition)", available on 25th October 2010.
Presented together to aptly signify the journey Giant Sand has ventured since their beginnings in the Tuscon Desert 25 years ago, from conception to the here and now. With every twist and turn of the musical journey to be brought to you through the ambitious reissue series from Fire, which will see the release of the complete works of Giant Sand, Howe Gelb, Arizona Amp and The Bands Of Blacky Ranchette - a collection of works that maintains its own genre-defying singularity drawing on the not-so disparate threads of Howe's South Western roots, lo-fi, country, jazz, and punk. "Giant Sand is a mood," explained Howe, as if to simplify the dizzying breadth of his prolific output as an artist.
"Between the crystal clear focus of your day to day and the luxury of sweet fuzzy sleep, we welcome you to the blurry blue mountain".
- Howe Gelb
