We all do it, so many to remember! If you have forgotten your password please simply click the LOST PASSWORD link at the top right of the firerecords.com homepage. We will ask for your email address and pop a new password in an email to you. Use this password to log in and keep it , or head to MY ACCOUNT where you can change it to something more familiar or safer. Easy.
Firstly you must register with the website in order to use the shop. Navigate to the registration page from the homepage via the top menu and then enter your details. You will receive a validation email which will then mean you are registered. You can now purchase items from the website, add items to your cart and pre order unreleased titles. When your order is confirmed and payment made we will send a confirmation email. We then pick it, package it and it is collected by Royal Mail. When your parcel is picked up a dispatch email is sent to you.
If you have purchased a release on vinyl or have a promotional download code you will need to register with the website in order to obtain your downloads. As explained above, you will need to register via the ‘register’ button on the homepage. We will send you a validation email which will then allow you to log in. When logged in proceed to your ‘MUSIC’ page via the link at the top of the page and enter your code in the box. Click ‘GO’ and your release will appear under a MY MUSIC banner on the left hand side of the page. Click on the cover image of the release to open the audio stream or click on the track you wish to download.
We are one of the rare few to make your music available to you digitally, as soon as you make the purchase. This is great for those of you who prefer vinyl releases but can’t wait to listen whilst we ship your album to Australia. It is also great for everyone to be able to download or stream your purchase while you wait, at no extra cost.
Payments from the Shop are handled by Paypal. When you add an item to your cart and then proceed to payment you will be directed to our Paypal account. You can pay using your debit/credit card or from your Paypal account. If you are not familiar with Paypal please use the help tools available to you. This is a good system, though it may mean entering your details again if you have not used the system before. The Paypal payments system works with our shop so we have all the details of your order should anything go awry.
When your order is confirmed and payment made we will send a confirmation email. We then pick it, package it and it is collected by Royal Mail. When your parcel is picked up a dispatch email is sent to you. We process orders twice a week and shipping can take up to 2 weeks for international orders. If you feel you have waited long enough but have still not received your order, please contact us using the above form.
This is where you view the titles that you have added to your cart before proceeding to payment. You can remove items you no longer wish to purchase.
The account is all you need to know about your activity on the website. Your order details past, present and future are here. You can also change your password here. If you have forgotten your password and we sent you a new one, this is where you can change it to something more familiar.
DOWNLOAD CODES AND AUDIO FOR FIRE PURCHASES ARE FOUND HERE! When you purchase a CD or vinyl release from our shop we put a digital version in ‘MY MUSIC’ for free. You must be logged in though of course. This is also where you gain access to your Download purchase. Simply enter the code found on the download card in your fire vinyl sleeve into the box and hit GO. The digital version of your purchase will then appear. To stream your release in ‘MY MUSIC’ click on the release to open it and hit ‘PLAY’. To download to your computer, click on the desired track and an automatic download will start. MP3s are currently available at 128kpbs compression. We are working toward upgrading this in the future for your listening pleasure. If there is a broken link, please contact us on the attached form specifying the album and track in question and we will work to fix the link ASAP.
We are currently having some issues with people in particular territories (mostly in Germany) accessing the box in which to enter your download code. This box should appear on the page you enter after clicking on the 'music' option on the Fire home page. Please try to disable the Ad Blocker in your browser first as this is known to affect the page view. If this box fails to show at this point please try THIS LINK or email your download code along with your registered email to email@example.com and we will add this to your account.
We currently process the orders twice a week. Therefore there may be a slight delay before you receive a dispatch email and your order sent. We try as hard as we can to process your orders promptly. If your purchase is particularly urgent please email firstname.lastname@example.org and we will endeavour to get it to you ASAP. Items will be sent by Royal Mail first class postage. This is a quick and reliable for domestic and international mail. It is not possible to track this service. Should you wish to have international shipments tracked we can use Airsure by Royal Mail at your cost. Please contact us to arrange this. We request that the additional payment be made to us through Paypal. Please note though that this requires a trip to the post office and whilst this is a service we are happy to provide, it is advisable to group such orders.
This is good to know. We package it well with a nice thick 12” stiffener to make sure nothing bends or breaks. If anything happens during transit and there is damage when you open it up, please let us know ASAP. We try our best to ensure nothing will happen but all vinyl packaging behaves differently.
Our webshop is administered Tuesday-Thursday weekdays. If you send an email on the Friday it may take until the following Tuesday to receive a response. Though we do work hard in order to make sure you hear from us sooner. We appreciate this may seem a while but rest assured all emails are read.
We regret that due to recent hikes in the cost of postage by Royal Mail, we are now forced to charge for both UK and International postage. The cost is calculated automatically by weight. The more you order, the heavier it is, the more expensive to post. We have kept the charges equal to or less than Royal Mail increments.
No. We will not share your user data with third parties. We may though send you artist info such as tours and new releases in a newsletter. If you absolutely refuse to receive such information please send us an email.
I have purchased a digital download from Itunes but noticed that you offer free CDs with every download purchase. Is it possible to still get the CD even though i purchased my downloads elsewhere
Yes we treat all of our UK customers the same. If you purchased a Fire Records release from Itunes, or any key online music store, then please send us both proof of purchase and a P&P charge for £2.99. Proof Of Purchases should be sent to email@example.com and payment should be made via paypal to firstname.lastname@example.org. If you purchased the download outside of the UK then we will need to check territorial restrictions on that particular release and calculate shipping before shipping the CD.
